Australia Residential Elite Training Program
(November 2007 to April 2008)

Amateurs and Professionals

Our program in Australia is aimed at low handicap amateurs, and young golf professionals. For students staying for most of the winter program there will be a tournament schedule organized (both amateur and professional). Students with qualifying handicaps will have the opportunity to play in local, State and National tournaments (please note that entry fees and travel costs etc are extra and payable by the student).

Our Location

We are located at the prestigious Royal Pines Resort, located on the Gold Coast, Australia. Royal Pines has been host to many international golf tournaments, and the practice infrastructure is again excellent. For further information about the resort, please visit www.rpr.com.au.

Sponsorship

We have a little money available for part scholarships. The maximum scholarship that we can offer at the moment is 25%. Applicants need to fill out a separate application form.

In addition, we have sponsorship ideas/plans available, which have proved very successful for previous students in helping them to obtain sponsorship from members of their home club, area where they live etc. We are quite expierenced at this and are happy to provide guidance and assistance to help the students.

Accommodation

We offer a range of accommodation to suit each individual's budget. The options are hotel, shared apartments or homestay. For students under the age of 18 homestay is mandatory, unless accompanied by a parent.

Homestays are an excellent way to improve your English and experience a different culture. All families provide students with transport to and from resort as well as preparing breakfast and an evening meal. Many students form close friendships that last a lifetime.

Duration	minimum 4 weeks stay to a maximum of 20 weeks

Holidays

During the 20 week period there will be some holiday periods (4-5 weeks total), whereby students have the possibility of experiencing Australia’s other attractions, or alternatively can use this time for extra practice and tournaments.
