One Year Residential Elite Training Program

If a 16 or 18 year old student wanted to study Mathematics, it would be foolish you to say to him, "Go to the library when you feel like it and learn for yourself". The student would have a teacher, and a structured learning timetable together with a syllabus of what needs to be learnt. And then this learning schedule would be controlled by the teacher and the student encouraged and aided by the teacher where necessary. We take exactly the same view in golf - learning is a partnership between the student and the teacher, but youngsters need a very clear and concise map, and need to be regularly motivated and encouraged. Youngsters are often very ambitious and have the desire to achieve a goal, but have yet to develop the self discipline to carry out the necessary steps to achieve the goal, and that is where a concise, stimulating practice plan controlled by the teacher becomes very effective.

How many 18 to 25 year olds are good enough to go on Tour? But golfers have few options - many just practice at their home course on their own, maybe taking occasional instruction for one hour a week, mainly in the technical area of the game.

The young mathematician would have a curriculum to follow, and books to read. It's the same with our Academy for the young golfers - we deliver a complete educational program, where each student follows a personalized educational program in all areas of the game.

Our Location

We are based at Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, Australia from November until April, and then May until October we are based at GC Gstaad, Switzerland. For further information about our location please click here.

Our tools

We use the latest computer technology to help our students develop their game. At present that includes GASP computer coaching multi camera analysis system, SAM Putting Lab, FREEZ FRAMER psychological and physiological training software. And in the near future we are looking to install a complete force plate biomechanical swing studio.

Accommodation

There are a number of different accommodations options homestay, rented room in a shared house or a rented apartment. Please send us an email requesting our information pack which details all costs and options.

Tournaments

When the student arrives, a tournament plan will be made by the student, parents and the coach, consisting of club tournaments, regional and national tournaments where applicable.

Start Dates

Normally our Year starts in November and then finishes in October. However, there are possibilities to start at other times. Students have the possibility to play tournaments and there are 12 weeks holiday time during this 52 week period, allowing students ample time to return home, play special tournaments etc.
