OUR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Leadbetter once said, that the mental and technical parts of the game are inextrcably linked - so why teach only technique or only mental, when these two parts of the game are like Siamese twins? Our teaching is a mixture of mental, technical and management techniques. Our success has been based on our client's successes. We are at the cutting edge of existing knowledge within this profession and our aim is to synthesize the information that is out there in all spheres of the game such as biomechanical, physiology, psychological, and compress this information into practical, workable techniques and practices to enhance the performance of our clients.

We believe that everybody has a unique identity and personality, and that is our teaching philosophy as well. We don't teach a rigid swing theory to every one of our clients - we try to develop the talent of that particular person. Through our extensive research of the golf swing and through our involvement with some worlds top coaches we believe that there are certain common denominators that are found in all successful golfers, and this is the basis on which we teach. We believe that there is plenty of room, and indeed it is desirable, for individual swing identities.

Our coaching is focused on five areas of player development - technical, mental, management, physical conditioning and character development - shaping, honing and nurturing the skills for future champions.

There are other factors that contribute, such as fitness and lifestyle, and our program encompasses these aspects as well.

Ultimately, every golfer is the pilot of their own aeroplane. But all pilots need a map to direct them to their destination. We will give you a map of how to improve and how to reach your final destination, and motivate you to get there.

Learning is fun!

We believe that learning is an interactive experience and people learn faster when it is fun, enjoyable and stimulating. We also believe that learning to play golf is not just about learning to play a sport. Golf is a game which can teach many other facets that individuals can face in other areas of life. Golf engenders integrity, honesty and mental discipline. A golfer who cannot control his emotions has little chance of controlling the golf ball.

Bob Rotella, golf's most famous Psychologist, once said -

"People learn best from teachers who enjoy teaching."

We love teaching, and have spent our whole careers studying the game of golf, and how to teach it. We love it, and we love teaching people who want to learn !
